Celeste Farms values your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit our site or attend an event, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at booking@celestefarms.com.
Information we collect
- Account details. When you create an account, buy a ticket, book a private event, or sign up for membership, we collect your name, email, phone number, and any optional details you share (like dietary needs or emergency contact).
- Payment information. All payment processing runs through Square. We never see or store your card number. Square handles card data under their own security and compliance program.
- Kiosk check-in. When you visit the farm, we use your phone number as your membership ID to look up and apply any discounts you're entitled to.
- Site analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are popular and how people find us. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
How we use your information
- To fulfill your event bookings, deliver gift cards, and manage your membership
- To communicate with you about your bookings, events, and — if you opted in — our newsletter
- To accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and accessibility needs you've shared with us
- To improve the site and understand how people use it
- To comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share only what is necessary with the services that help us run the farm:
- Square — payment processing, orders, and membership billing
- Supabase — the database that stores account and event data
- Resend — transactional emails like booking confirmations and receipts
- Telnyx — transactional SMS delivery for check-in instructions and booking-related texts
- Kit (ConvertKit) — newsletter delivery, only if you subscribe
- Google Analytics — anonymized site analytics
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our staff, guests, or the farm.
SMS Communications
When you provide your mobile number at booking, checkout, or on-site kiosk check-in, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Celeste Farms related to your visit — check-in instructions, arrival directions, and booking confirmations. We do not send marketing SMS. Message frequency varies by booking and check-in activity, typically fewer than five per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe at any time; opting out of SMS will not affect your account or ability to book events.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS delivery is handled by Telnyx as a processor on our behalf and is subject to their own security and compliance program.
Your choices
- Newsletter. Unsubscribe anytime via the link at the bottom of any newsletter email.
- Account data. Email us at booking@celestefarms.com to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We'll respond within 30 days.
- Kiosk lookup. You can ask us to remove your phone number from the in-person lookup system at any time.
- Financial records. We retain transaction records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even if you delete your account.
Children
For kids art classes and similar children's events, a parent or guardian provides the contact information and consents to their child's participation. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the farm and site evolve. The current version is always posted here with an updated date. For significant changes, we'll let you know by email or a notice on the site.
